============================================================

Dear Kyle Hence ,

Thanks for this.İ It's exactly what I meant when I emailed you this morning.

This is a trap.İ The info that Graham is trying to get is the tip of the iceberg.İ It deals only with with negligence and it provides absolutely no opportunity for the hapless US-Sector citizenry to learn that most of the negligence was intentional.

For example,İ these deeply-deceived citizens will have absolutely no opportunity to learn that it was intentional that no military interceptor aircraft reached those slow-moving 9-11 airliners in time.

Instead of wasting our energy publicizing the fucking Washington Times, we should be demanding (via sit-ins, traffic disruptions, etc) that Sinister John Ashcroft of the "Justice" Department release the names of everybody who made money from 9-11 foreknowledge.İ He has had their names since late September of 2001.

I'm sure you're aware that millions of obscene American dollars were "made" by the purchase of put options (i.e., "going short") on United Airlines, American Airlines, etc.

So it's tremendously important that demonstrations go forward swiftly now to demand that we receive all the hardball info---and emphatically not merely the softball shit which Graham for quite sleazy reasons is trying to obtain.İ Are you in a position to organize such demos?İ If not, please direct me to somebody who can because I'd like to help as a fund-raiser for her/him.İ Maybe Starhawk?İ Please advise.

Thanks again---and of course I wish you the very best in your complex continuing efforts. İİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİ

Yours for all species, İİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİİ

Keith Lampe, Ponderosa Pine PS:İ I still haven't heard from Tony Serra about whether he'll go after Ashcroft for us. İİİ

Graham charges Bush cover-up on terror facts

Audrey Hudson THE WASHINGTON TIMES Published May 12, 2003

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bob Graham of Florida yesterday accused the Bush administration of "covering up" information vital to protecting the country against future terrorist attacks.

"This administration has probably been one of the most secretive administrations in American history. And one of the areas over which they have thrown a particularly heavy blanket has been information about terrorism, including terrorism [against] the United States," Mr. Graham said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

The former chairman and now ranking member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence cited the final report of the bipartisan House-Senate inquiry into the events preceding September 11, completed five months ago.

The report is said to provide detailed information on activities leading up to the attacks and raises serious policy questions, but the administration has refused to publicly release the report, Mr. Graham said. "By continuing to classify that information so that it's not available to the American people, the American people have been denied important information for their own protection; for the protection of the communities, local agencies have been denied information which would help them be more effective first responders, and the American people do not have the information upon which they can hold the administration and responsible agencies accountable," the senator said. "I call that a cover-up."

Sen. Chuck Hagel, Nebraska Republican and Select Intelligence Committee member, was later asked to address Mr. Graham's comments on CNN's "Late Edition." Mr. Hagel said he was stumped by the accusation. "I am not aware of what he is talking about," Mr. Hagel said. "Obviously, with this very serious charge, someone is going to pay attention to that, and I suspect we will be accepting that challenge and finding out what he is talking about here shortly," Mr. Hagel said.

Some of the information has been released through CIA and FBI testimony at public hearings. But Mr. Graham said the administration is trying to cover up information on failures that occurred before the attacks.

Mr. Graham also said that the war in Iraq allowed Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda terrorist group to regenerate, and that it now has a large number of operatives inside the United States. "In my judgment, we should have pursued the war on terrorism to victory before we moved to Iraq," Mr. Graham said. "I think you could make the case that we are less secure as a result of the Iraq war because we have taken the focus off the international terrorists," Mr. Graham said.

He said al Qaeda was "on the ropes" until mid-2002, when the military shifted resources out of Afghanistan and Pakistan to prepare for war in Iraq.

They have since carried out a "very complex set of terrorist acts that range from Yemen to Bali, last fall, and have every appearance of being capable of launching other terrorist attacks," Mr. Graham said.

The Homeland Security Department raised the terror-alert level from yellow (elevated) to orange (high) moments after President Bush gave Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein a 48-hour deadline to leave Iraq or face war.

No terrorist attacks on the United States or U.S. interests abroad have occurred since then, and administration officials say terrorist groups have been crippled.

The State Department recently reported that 3,000 al Qaeda members have been detained in 100 countries, and Mr. Bush says nearly half of al Qaeda's global network has been killed or taken into custody.

During the Iraq war's buildup and execution, numerous antiterrorism operations continued in Afghanistan, where U.S. troops numbered as many as 10,000, according to published reports.

Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, al Qaeda's third-ranking leader, was captured March 1 and gave information that led to numerous raids in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It is believed that a plot to fly a plane full of explosives into the U.S. Consulate in Karachi was foiled after two men were arrested in Pakistan.

Another raid saw the capture of Mustafa Ahmed al-Hiwsawi, who helped fund the September 11 terrorist attacks.

But some of the world's most violent terrorists, Mr. Graham said, remain in the "cesspool" of Syria, which should be the next target of military action if its terrorist camps aren't cleared.

The Bush administration needs to send the message to Syria and Lebanon that the United States will not tolerate the "open, flagrant training of the next generation of terrorists in the most sophisticated skills of terrorism."
