Hence" Dear Friends, The National Commission will be holding its second set of open hearings May 22-23 in room 216 of the Hart Senate Office building in Washington, D.C.Ý The first were held in NYC where 9/11 CitizensWatch was launched March 31 - April 1, the audio from which should be online sometime soon. While the upcoming hearing is formally being billed as a focus on aviation security 9/11 CitizensWatch can confirm the commission expressed intention to investigate the failure of the air defenses even though it is NOT mentioned explicitly in the legislation establishing the Commission.Ý So it's important independent media covers these hearings on this key line of inquiry.Ý If you are media and want to register to attend go to 9-11commission.gov We are preparing a list of questions, recommended witnesses and responsible officials throughout the command structure, and records and documentation that should be subpeonaed in our view. Mostly in the area of air defenses.Ý Family members have been pressing hard on civilian aviation security.Ý Please look for further details in an upcoming press release we'll be sending out late this week or by Monday.Ý We'll also be attending and pressing forward the most critical questions and issues personally while videotaping some interviews for our ongoing documentary 'archive'.
