I hate being wrong.Ý These last few weeks, the future has been very uncertain.Ý As Yoda said, a dark cloud hangs over us, and the future is difficult to see. The illegal occupation of Iraq is turning into a long-term disaster.Ý The US has resorted to giving jobs to looters (were they working for the US BEFORE they raided the museums?), hiring thugs to "keep the peace" just like Hitler did with the German Brown Shirts.Ý The Shiites are unhappy, the Sunnis are unhappy, everyone's unhappy except Halliburton, Dyncorp, and Bechtel who are making billions in government contracts thanks to their connections to Cheney, Bush, and Rumsfeld. I'll be writing up a piece on political thuggery and the current schemes of US oil interests shortly. In the meantime, here's some Haiku Kung Fu for you.Ý Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry considered to be the highest form of artistic expression.Ý It's considered such because one must be able to capture the essence of a thing in three short lines, consisting of 17 syllables.Ý Not an easy thing to do. I call this Haiku Kung Fu because it's martial Haiku.Ý If anyone would like to send me some of their own Haikus for a later email, please feel free.Ý I'll print the best ones down the road where it's appropriate.
