The first day's agenda will include testimony from 9-11 Joint Intelligence Committee senators and congressmen who will outline the Commission's mandate and objectives. However, given the staggering evidence of a total breakdown of military air defense on September 11 (details of which can be reviewed and analyzed at the left column of this page), it is curious that the Commission will only consider "Civil Aviation Security on September 11th: The State of the System" -- as a primary direction of discovery via testimony from a number of current and former Federal Aviation and Transportation officials.
